A huge shout out to our #FavDJ, Deon Govender for introducing us!

#FutureMrSa
So to our ladies out there who don’t know you, describe yourself in three adjectives and explain why.
Organized – I know! Very uncommon for a man but look in my clothing cupboard and you will see what I mean! I have to always be tidy and need structure in my life.
Motivated – I’m a strong believer in motivation. Motivation has made me achieve personal goals that I never thought would be possible.
Ambitious – I am constantly pushing myself to be the best that I can be and try to pass that ambition onto others.

Hmm motivated (one of our fav qualities in a guy). #Nice. What or who motivates you, and why?
Listening to Swedish House Mafia and Calvin Harris motivates me through those early morning gym sessions. Do yourself a favour and get these albums on your iPod, you can thank me later for starting the day off like a boss.

We can definitely see the ambitious quality! I mean early morning gym sessions! #Damn. So, tell us a little about your goals and dreams.
Well as you know, I am currently a Mr South Africa 2013 finalist so at the moment most of my focus and short-term goals are set towards winning this pageant and representing South Africa on a global scale. I am also a fitness enthusiast and businessman, so there are a few long-term goals that I am constantly working on to better myself.

You see yourself making an impact on society?
Definitely! I would not have entered Mr South Africa 2013 if I did not believe that I could make an impact. I feel that I have reached a stage in life that I can be an example to people who need to find that motivation in their life in order to achieve fulfilment whether it being in business, health or life in general.

Tell us what sets you apart from other contestants?
I am a brand ambassador for USN and GUESS SA as well as a business Director at Whistle Blowers (Pty) Ltd. Mr South Africa is the ideal platform for an individual who is motivated, presentable and knowledgeable. I believe that I have reached that point in life where I have obtained a healthy lifestyle while succeeding in the business environment, yet still willing to learn and grow as a person. So please vote for me - SMS MRSA17 to 47439!

Liverpool fan score!
Hmm now that ripped bod tells us you are flawless, what are your weaknesses?
Supporting Liverpool FC, times are tough at the moment with all these Manchester United supporters around.  Gosh, tell us about it! Smurfett_Li and CarrieKups are also LFC supporters #YNWL

We heard that  you were a fleeting soccer stud in Europe ;) Which club did you play? And did you get the opportunity to play with any of today's well known footballers?

I played for Eastbourne FC, who a few years later got promoted after I returned back home….I must of been the weak link in the side;-) Majority of the great footballers in England are snatched up by the top clubs from the age of 12, so unfortunately I never got to play with or against the well known players of today.

Competition Prep Time!
We thought that since you are a finalist in Mr SA we would take this opportunity to ask you a few of those pesky "have to think on your feet" pageant questions as a bit of practice so...

What would you do to promote world peace? (Cause no pageant is complete without a question on World Peace!)
Tell me about it! Love & Respect

What is the most pressing problem South Africa faces today?
Rape and Abuse against woman.

Which cartoon character would you like to be, and why?
It would have to say Donatello from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Besides the fact that I used to run around the house chasing the cats and dogs in my ninja turtle outfit, he has to be one of the coolest cartoon characters out there!

One thing about us is we love our reality TV! If you could have your own reality show what would you call it?
 Living the life of dreams

If you could stalk any Zaleb/Celeb who would it be and why?
Floyd Mayweather! He is the epitome of dedication, determination, desire and living life to the fullest

What is the one thing that sets a woman apart from a man?
Men are going to hate me for this but I would have to say their maturity. Sorry boys but I know that you are agreeing with me even if it is on the quiet. I have always found that most woman act older than their age. Us men will always have that inner boy inside of us, which is apparent when we all get together. Ask my father; I think he still thinks that he is in his late 20’s.

If you were not here where would you be?
Probably in Franchhoek, sipping on wine and watching the sunset with my family and girlfriend. Terrible I know!
**Sorry girls, there is a gf…**

Which 3 dinner guests, besides us of course, would you most like around your dinner table?
Besides you beautiful girls….Trevor Noah, Gareth Cliff and John Smit. That would most definitely be a very entertaining dinner filled with lots of stories and good laughs.

Now for the Serious stuff

Everyone has a mission in life. What do you think your mission is?
I would say that my mission is to make the most of the opportunities that I am blessed with and look back at my life with having no regrets. I would like to be able to encourage individuals to excel in their own personal goals and to never be afraid of dreaming big. On a more personal note I would also like to work more with the charities that have been close to my heart for the past 5 years and create more exposure for them.

Low self esteem is something that can creep up on us ever so often, what’s your secret to staying confident?
I believe in my abilities and enjoy working towards goals that I know I can achieve, both short-term and long-term. I have been fortunate enough to meet some special people, who have been very supportive to me, making me grow more confident as an individual.
One more question: Can we stare  into those eyes?

Finally, tell us something that will make people remember you.
Ask me that questions again at the end of August and hopefully my answer would be, “The winner of Mr South Africa 2013 that South Africans can be proud of and associate with!”
