How often do you stop in the mirror to check your hair?

Hmmm if you anything like us lil princesses, perhaps every time you walked pass a mirror? Aint nothing wrong with a girl trying to be neat, right? Now ask yourself, how often do you stop to check what is in your heart?

Ok so we all guilty of it - focusing on our beautimous selves and perhaps neglecting what's on the inside. Today, we wanted to share a daily devotion on Cultivating A Beautiful Heart

You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. (NLT) ( 1 Peter 3:4 ) 

We spend a lot of time focusing on our outward appearance such as perfecting our hairstyle, improving our physique, selecting the right clothes. In all, a lot of thought goes into creating just the right look. Do we spend the same amount of time cultivating our inner beauty? We know what inner beauty looks like...patience, generosity, peace-loving, fearless, and filled with a silent strength. 

Are we spending more time worrying about the colour of our teeth instead of the kind of words that come out of our mouth? 

Ultimately our words are a reflection of our heart.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo!

Honey Boo Boo has A-R-R-I-V-E-D! And you better REDNECKOGNIZE!

TLC's most entertaining family has finally come to SA shores and brought with a small snippet into small town America. Now if you're anything like me, you would fallen in love with the Thompson's in one of the earliest screenings of Toddlers and Tiara's.

Lil Alana was refreshingly honest and candid - a nice change to the pageant scene. She was loud and proud with a Mama who is HIGHlarious! Like her smootchie, Mama June wasn't about to apologize for who she was. She is sincere and always supportive of her lil girl - two things every mama should be.

The show seems to be getting mixes reactions with some viewers calling the show an exploitative mess. What do you think of the show? Is it an awful show or your idea of Wednesday night entertainment?

As for me, I think lil Alana is a supa cutie who acts like any other 6yr old. Sure she's one competitive madam but hey we all need a lil sass to get through this roller coaster called life. Hope this lil beauty queen keeps her spirit while her Mama continuous to teach us some new words ( yup i have had to google, remember viggle gaggle?)

We have NOT deserted you. PROMISE!

Hello all our awesome stalkers! How are you all doing this month?  

Well, we have noticed that we haven’t been posting all that often but we’ve been really busy! PROMISE!

Here’s a little recap of our lives and a promise that this coming month of April, we going to be changing things up a bit here at Fairytales and Stalkers complete with a whole new make over and lots of new interesting topics! 

Our girl @CarrieKups has been super working hard (at Osheo Hair), making sure that goddesses are glamorous all over South Africa, starting with their hair.  So ladies if you need a little hair make over (or a bit of hair extensions) in your lives, this is the girl to go to!  As she’s been so busy with work, she’s even been a little neglectful of her wonderful man Renaldo (boyfriend and personal chef!)  Lucky for her, he’s a very supportive and understanding guy!

Jen-Li (@smurfette_Li) finished school last year! YayZ! Finally a big girl, but she’s discovered that the life of a school leaver is not all that glamorous. (Unless Osheo has styled your hair *Free advert for @CarrieKups * best friends gotta support each other after all)  She’s had to get a job, which takes up most of her weekends as well as she’s started with her studies (Gonna be like @Jackey_101 – a teacher!)  Completing assignments during the week and working weekend! Not that glamorous at all but it will be worth it in the end!  Yes we are not just beauty we got the brains too! (Somebody please pass this vital piece of info our boys at the Shark Tank)

And @Jackey_101 has been busy GRADuating from Varsity (She just completed her Bed Foundation Phase) and trying to find a job, which even with a degree is pretty hard to do!  In fact Jackey and Jen have been so busy that they've even put their WAG dreams on hold! GASP! Now that shows you just how busy they've been!

So stalkers (and stalkees) stay tuned to this site as we inspire young ladies,  share the latest gossips,  what’s hot and what’s not in the world of fashion, let you know all about the latest and coolest bands the world has on offer as well as bring you the hotness that is our rugby boys!  

As you can see there’s going to be something here for everyone!  Whether you are the girly girl with perfect hair and make up and stilettos on that screams and shouts on the sides of the rugby field or the aspiring singer that wants to get their music out there! Or if you just need a little inspiration in your life after a relationship or friendship break up!  We are here for you in all your life’s ups and downs!  And hey you get a front row seat and the inside gossip on our personal lives as we three everyday princesses try and find our perfect fairytale!
