Ryan "Shocked at AXING"

"And so are the days of our ...... Sharks" ?!?! Huh? What?... Yes, you heard it right readers, seems like or beloved Sharks team are set on giving the actors on Days of Our Lives a run for their money lately! With 11, count them ELEVEN, changes made to this weeks team playing against the Chiefs in New Zealand, there's enough shock value there to rival one of Stefeno Dimera's many returns from the dead! The Captain, Keegan, has been dethroned (well benched really) with Jean Deysel taking over Captain Duties for the game. There's a rift between veteran player Ryan (hmmm... It is okay to call him a veteran after 10years) and coach Plum off field that's seems to be spreading on field. There's rumors of fighting between boys and an injury list so long you would be forgiven for thinking they were victims of a Salem make that Durban stalker ... (Um wait scratch that stalker comment y'all might think its us). Of course no soapie would be complete with out a few girly weight issues thrown in, in this scenario Frans Steyn is the girl with Plum being cast as the mean popular girl calling him out for being to chubby! ... Okay okay so we getting a bit dramatic, but things seem to be off in the team lately!
Is there more to the story then the claims???
The changes we can put down as a "surprise tactic" on Plums behalf, and maybe he's changing things up a bit since the usual team haven't been doing so well lately! But what really surprised us is the rumors (that our girl Jackey called the moment Ryan was axed from the team) that have been going around. Before he left for Japan there was talk about how Plum and Kankowski didn't get along, and now it seems that it wasn't all talk. Kankowski spoke out to a journalist about his axing saying :

"Of course I’m upset about being axed; the Sharks have been my (flippin'') life for the last 10 years and it came as a shock to me,"

In the article Kankowski went on to say:

"I’m contracted until the end of the year but this has certainly made me rethink my future at the Sharks, But Durban is my home and it’s a special place to me."

Hmm could we be loosing a player through this rift? Well we don't know what's up between the pair (they've denied a rift) its clear something is, especially when a few reasons have been given as to why he was axed amongst them: he's out of form, his loyalty to the Sharks and Japan not being good for him. After he was axed word is the pair got into a heated argument and with Kankos recent comments, we'll let you decide

uhmm . . . Did Plum really just go there??

Frans is back to starting which is strange, with Kanko being axed because Plum felt he wasn't fit enough, frans who Plum has been very vocal about his current weight gain is still playing. Is it only us that sees some players getting different treatment?

Is there any truth to the rumours of friction between the players??

We've also heard that there's a bit of tension between the boys, a "source" who attended a game in pre season saw Paul accidently elbowed in the face by Frans during warm ups, but when Frans apologized (and kept on apologising through out) Paul was all uptight and wouldn't accept it. Hmm doesn't seem like the going ons of a tight team! We not to quick to jump in on a rift between the players though, they do all seem quite close on twitter but then again look at how they playing, clearly not as a team!

Between all the rumors, apparent rifts and change up should we be concerned for our team? It seems that a few tweeps are concerned, demanding answers about whats going on at the Shark Tank!  Do they need group therapy or team building and can John get here soon enough to sort out the issues so our team can restore them selves to great team they once were? Well only time will tell! What are your views on the current situation and rumours we are hearing from the tank?

*Love&Peace*

P.S  no matter what we still L-O-V-E our boys in black and white and will always support them no matter what!  #SharksForever

Over the years, many of us have shared special memories with John and we look forward to working with and supporting him in his new capacity."  All we can say is Welcome home to where you belong, we personally can't wait to see this Legend at games at King Park

Sharks get Bok call up ....

If you read our previous post you will see that we are really proud that a few of our gorgous men in Black and White have been called up to the 36 man Springbok squad that would be attending the first 2 national training camps.  A huge congrats goes out to Tendai Mtawarira, Jannie du PlessisBismarck du PlessisFranco van der MerweMarcell Coetzee, Willem Alberts, Ryan Kankowski, Pat Lambie, Frans SteynLwazi Mvovo, JP Pietersen and Cobus Reinach who where included in the squad.  We are 100% behind you guys!

2013 Super15 season recap ...

The begining of this rugby season saw some of our Favourie sharks injured and on the bench before the Super15 even started and you couldnt help but wonder if this was a preminition of worse things to come this season. Last year oour team finished 2nd after loosing to te Chefs, can we hold that trophy this year?  Well our boys have come out fighting this year, having won 5 out of the 7 games we have played thus far, however if you ask many Shark supporters they may be proud that our boys are top of the SA log (3rd over all) but they still feel they are lacking in some major areas.  For starters we seem to be failing when it comes to scoring tries in games, having only scores 13 tries this season 10 of which in one game. Many of the wins are thanks to Pat's kicking.

If our boys are hoping to win this tournament they need to pick up their game plan, and start scoring tries!  Starting with a few in this Saturdays game against the Cheetahs' who are only 3 points behind us!  If they go in with a bit more confidence and some determination we are sure that they can do it!

New Shark hottie on the field ...

New hottie in the tank!
If you watched last weeks game against the Stormers you may have been left a little disappointed by the lose, but you would also have seen the newest additions to the team Sean Robinson who made his Super Rugby debut.  At the age of 19, he's got Carrie and Jackey going just a little cougar over him, he's set to have an amazing rugby career ahead of him.  The winger, who replaced Odwa who is on the bench carrying a hamstring strain, played for the under19 Sharks last year.  Plumtree had this to say about the latest addition to the Super rugby team.

"Sean Robinson is a youngster in his second year at the Sharks Academy and looks to have all the attributes of being a really good footballer, It's a great opportunity for him and we've placed no pressure on him to have a big game, rather that he goes out and enjoys the experience.  We're hoping he has a good game and that he plays many more games for the Sharks.”
We are really looking forwards to many more seasons seeing Sean playing for our team!  What do you girls think?

Springbok rugby news . . .

The new Bok Jersey

Jean in the new jersey. . .
What do ya'll think
If you know anything about us girls you will know that one of our true loves that we all share is RUGBY . . .  we almost love the game as much as we love the gorgeous talented South Africans that play the game.  Last Thursday (after much hype from the media) the new Bok jersey was unvieled and personally we cant wait to get our hands on the new suporters jersey (need to get a move on as we have a test match to attend in June at Kings Park! *excited*)

For any one who hasn't seen it yet (where have ya'll been living?) here's the new jersey worn by our own gorgeous Bok captain Jean De Villiers.  What do ya'll think?  the only problem we have with it is that the springbok should have been on the left hand side, over the heart ... other then that we absolutely L-O-V-E it!  Great choice Cantebury.

Springbok 2013 team call up!

Mr Meyer . . . has he made the
right choices this time?
The man we all love to hate in SA rugby, Heyneke Meyer, head Springbok coach named his initial 36 man Springbok squad that would attend the first 2 national training camps.  With the first camp having finished today.  Although some of our favs such as Keegan Daniel didn't get a call up we were quite impressed to see there were quite a few men in black and white that did get called up, including Cobus Reinach who got a late call to attend the camp after Jano Vermaak tore a hamstring on saturday.  Avid rugby fans may remember Cobus' father Jaco who played for the Boks in the 1980's, clearly this is a talented family!  There may still be changes made to this squad however, as the Meyer and his team did not get the chance to visit the Kings' practices before they went on tour for their super rugby games.

Here's the full list of Players invited to the first Springbok training camp of 2013:
Cobus ... the next top Bok scrumhalf?
Forwards: Tendai Mtawarira, Jannie du Plessis, Frans Malherbe, Coenie Oosthuizen, Pat Cilliers, Adriaan Strauss, Bismarck du Plessis, Chiliboy Ralepelle, Eben Etzebeth, Flip van der Merwe, Juandra Kruger, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Franco van der Merwe, Siya Kolisi, Marcell Coetzee, Willem Alberts, Arno Botha, Duane Vermeulen, Pierre Spies, Ryan Kankowski.
Backs: Jano Vermaak, Francois Hougaard, Pat Lambie, Morne   Steyn, Elton Jantjies, Jean de Villiers, Frans Steyn, Juan de Jongh, Jan Serfontein, Robert Ebersohn, Bryan Habana, Lwazi Mvovo, Raymond Rhule, JP Pietersen, Bjorn Basson, Zane Kirchner

The Bok hotties . . .

We couldn't finish up the Bok news without a little on field eye candy.  With so many hotties in this list it was hard doing but here are our top 3 gorgeous Spirngboks!"

Ryan Kankoski ... there's something
about that hair!

Duane Vermelleun may be married
but we can still look!
Francois Hougaard (HougiBear) Those
tattoos ... and he's single ...

Amanda (Bynes) PLEASE!

Amanda pre odd behavior
What happened to one of our favorite actresses Amanda Bynes??? Over the last few months we have seen some really strange behavior from the one Hollywood star we least expected it from! At 27 years we've hardly heard a peep of negative attention about her, yet over the last few months its all we've heard!

If she's not tweeting some really strange thoughts , (not to mention disturbing tweets to Drake), she's changing her hair, and then tweeting some really unflattering selfies! There there's talking about the hair well she's shaved it (having flash backs to Britney 2007!) She recently tweeted to E! to explain the hair and also to let them know how tired she is of the negative attention they as well as other media blogs (think Perez Hilton) have been giving her ... Here's her tweet

Amanda has been tweeting some rather
disturbing tweets to Drake lately ...
"@eonline please post my pics anytime! I had to shave my head because of hair damage from someone @ John Barrett so I'm not loving my paparazzi pics for a few years! I have extensions but you can see them! Loving your shows but suing you for spreading lies about me on your website! Thanks for being my fan! True friends don't spread lies about me so I can't follow anyone from your network on twitter. I'll sue you everytime you post a lie with a paparazzi shot, I tell you everything that is going on about me on twitter. Only choose the paparazzi pics that I select and post on twitter and my personal pics when talking about me! I tweet all day about nothing just like everybody on the face of the earth! Thanks!"

Uhmm so she wants E! to only use paparazzi pics of her choice, isn't the point of paparazzi pics to try catch stars not at their best? Looking at her "selfies" (pics she takes of herself) and the pics the paps are taking of her, if we were in her shoes we would want the paps pics used in tabloids instead, just saying!

Amanda's "selfies" she wants the
media to start using

For those that haven't been keeping up with the Amanda Bynes story. Here's a recap ... In the last year she's been kicked out of gyms, undressed in gym classes, locked herself in public bathroom, arrested for DUI (drinking under the influence), missed court dates and many more ... *sigh* things are not looking good for the star lately! Between her random tweets and strange pics (including wigs and blue lipstick) we can't help but wonder where her parents and family are and why they aren't by her side trying to get her back on track!

We miss Amanda on our screens and hope to see her back soon! Get it together girl. Just look at Lindsey Lohan you don't want to end up like her!

The paparazzi pics
she can't stand (red wig/hair?)
What do ya'll think of Amandas' behaviour and the coverage media has been giving her?

*Love&Peace* guys

Stalker Winter 2013 MUST HAVES

Kim K loves the scarf and beanie look!
Winter is well and truly on its way so we here at fairytales and stalkers got thinking that maybe it was time we listed our WINTER MUST HAVES cause let's get real, it's a little hard to stand behind the tree in the cold shivering trying to carry out your latest stalking *cough* sorry research assignment when you dressed like its still summer!  We 3 girls have come up with a list of items that have made our Winter Must Haves!

STYLE 101 WITH JACKEY...

perfect to mix and match with any outfit

First on the list was a must have from Jackey.  "Every girl needs to have a beanie beret and scarf in their winter wardrobe, after all it's all about the accessories!" Can't argue with this, can we?

OUR LIL SMURFETTE ADVISES...

Fav celebs rocking Uggs

Jen-Li felt that every girl needed ta have a pair of Ugg boots. "It's for those days that you just don't feel like trying." (face it we all have those days), FYI they also great for warrmth and comfort! Mr. Price has some great styles and colours! #LoveThatStore

CARRIES SUGGESTS...

If like Jackey you not to keen on Uggs, take Carries advise (hmmm maybe she's the next Carrie Bradshaw) and get yourself a pair of flat leather riding boots! "Definitely my FAV! Comfort and style wrapped in one warm, cute lil package!" Check out Woolworths for great styles that leave you on trend.

fav celebs rocking riding boots
On thing we all agreed on was that every stalker, (sorry detective) needed a great trench coat this winter. There really are some fabulous coats out this winter that will leave you feeling Fabulous AND Gorgeous but most importantly warm on those long missions during this winter!  Team them with a pair of skinnies for a comfortable day look or dress them up with a pair of leggings and heeled boots for a night out on the town you cant go wrong!

The great thing about all our MUST HAVES this winter they all look great when teamed together  So what are you waiting for ladies get out and shop for our winter must have!

We would love to hear your winter must haves for this winter season.

*Love&Peace* ladies stay fabulous this winter! See below from looks that we will be rocking this winter:

No "BIG CONCERTS" strikes again in Durban

Remember a few months ago when the whole of South Africa was caught up in #BieberFever with news that the Biebs would be coming to S.A for two shows in his Believe Tour. Then Durbanites where left broken hearted when Big Concerts left us of the tour dates, well they've struck again.

Diamonds World Tour . . . Excluding Durban
Well this time around it wasn't a big surprise at all!  When news that Rihanna would be visiting Durban broke, in one of the worst kept secrets by Big Concerts, Durbanites were pretty sure from the get go that we would not be on the schedule ... and we weren't *surprise surprise* (note the sarcasm please).  Like in our post about the Biebs concert we could go on and on about the injustice of it all and how Big Concerts could share the tour dates of the international stars between the 3 main South African cities.  But this time we've come up with a much better plan! (business opportunity coming up!!! so Durban entrepreneurs take note)

Someone in Durban should just open their own entertainment business where they only bring big international acts to Durban.  Sure it is rather expensive but hey let's start a bake sale or something for our initial capital. (Ok ok so we are in kind of a dream world) But BIG Concerts what are we durbanites doing so wrong?   We can guarantee ya'll that we as durbanites would support!

Durbanites what's your thoughts of being left of the list of tour dates
*Love&Peace* till next time guys!

MOVIE REVIEW: G.I Joe - Retaliation

G.I Joe Retaliation . . . A must see this year!
Last week Thursday our girl @Jackey_101 had the opportunity to the screening of G.I Joe thanks to our newest homie, Deon Governder (yes, that's right we used the word homie #DontJudge #90'sKids) from our beloved ECR.

So some of our lady readers may be thinking G.I Joe really, isnt that a bit of a guy movie?  You would be forgiven for thinking that had you not checked out the actors(by actors we mean guy candy *mmm*in love) in the movie.

G.I Joe is full of eye candy for the ladies! All I need to say is Channing Tatum, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and even Bruce Willis (he may be little old but there's no denying he is still absouluty gorgeous!). We sure after hearing those names no one is going to be arguing with the bf's when they want to see this movie instead of a RomCom on date night, are we right??? Of course we are, we always right after all!!!!!

@Jackey_101 with ECR DJ Deon Governder

So back to the movie review .... (this is the hard part cause we not that good at keeping secrets and we can't exactly tell you what's going to happen in the movie, cause then what's the point of you watching it *sigh* so here's a brief review that we found online) :

"Sent on a mission to Pakistan, the G.I. Joes -- led by Duke (Channing Tatum) -- find that they've been set up. After a brutal surprise attack, only Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson), Jaye (Adrianne Palicki), and Flint (D.J. Cotrona) survive. Looking to avenge their fallen comrades, the trio discovers that the evil plot goes all the way up to the president of the United States (Jonathan Pryce). It turns out that the remaining members of the evil organization Cobra are controlling the White House in an effort to take over the world with a terrifying new weapon. Joined by old friends, old enemies, and some new allies, it's now up to the ragtag team of Joe survivors to save the world" via  commonsensemedia
A little Channing-Candy since we don't get to
see much in the film *let down*

It's a really great movie, even though it didn't get many raving reviews from critics, but if you are a fan of the actors in the movie or even the G.I franchise you will certainly enjoy it like us.  Definitely on our list as a MUST SEE!

Let us know what ya'll think of it :)

*Love&Peace*

Glee Star Cory Monteith Goes To Rehab

While we here in SA wait eagerly for the fourth season of Glee, the show's star, Cory Monteith ( who plays gentle giant Finn) has checked himself into rehab.

Cory as the lovable Finn
News broke this week that the lovable Finn Hudson has been written out the season finale. The 30-year old Canadian actor issued a statement through his publicist announcing his voluntary admission for substance abuse.

A spokesperson for Monteith said, "[Cory] has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction.

"He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery."

The real life couple
Cory has always been open with fans, previously admitting to dropping out of high school and a prior stint in rehab - due to a serious drug problem in his teens. The Glee star had since gotten his matric ( a lil more than 2 or 3 years ago) and encouraged fans to think about their futures. "I don’t want kids to think it’s OK to drop out of school and get high, and they’ll be famous actors too." We can definitely see why Lea Michele ( Glee's Rachel) loves this guy!

We're proud of u Cory! Taking responsibility is encouraging to all of us. Admitting you made a mistake doesn't make you a smaller person, it shows character and bravery.

Hope all our lil stalkers learn a lesson : " It is the highest form of self-respect to admit our errors and mistakes and make amends for them... " - Dale Turner

Often, mistakes lead us to discover greater insight into ourselves. Do you have a story to share about a mistake that changed your life? Email us on fairytalesnstalkers@gmail.com. We'd love to share your stories. *names can be changed

As always guys, * love & peace *
